New Dutch CMR-list published

In early January 2013, the Dutch Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment issued a new list of CMR-substances. The substances on this list of carcinogenic substances and processes, mutagenic and NON-limited list of reproductive substances are subject to  the compulsory supplementary registry of hazardous substances of the Dutch Working Conditions Act. The Dutch CMR-list is updated 2 times a year. The most recent version can be downloaded via the following hyperlink (note: the text is in Dutch):

New international versions: UK-Xtend and FR-Xtend

Simultaneously with Update 2013-02 two new  international versions of DOHSBase Compare have been released.


First, a version for the United Kingdom (UK-Xtend), with the English occupational exposure limits (WELs) are at the top of the hierarchy.


The second version is aimed at France: FR-Xtend. In these versions, the French occupational exposure limits (VLEs) are at the top of the hierarchy.

Introducing UK-Xtend version

At the conference of the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) we will be introducing the first UK-version of DOHSBase Compare. Next to the Dutch (NL) en European (EU) versions. The UK-Xtend version uses a hierarchy in which the English Workplace Exposure Limits (WEL) will be dominant, followed by the European binding limits and health-based OEL’s of the Netherlands, Germany and USA.
